당시 제품을 찍어놓은 실제 사진이 없어서 홈페이지 사진으로 대체하였습니다.

이렇게 실사 컬러 스캔이 필요한 제품들은 보통 포토그라메트리 형식으로 진행됩니다.

언더컷 같은 경우에는 안나온 부분 없이 돌려가며 촬영하고 그 후 동일하게 병합해주면 됩니다.

Products that require real-color scans like this are usually done in the form of photogrammetry.
In the case of undercuts, you can take photos of the parts that are not shown by rotating them and

 then merge them together.

병합하고 난 후 이상한 메쉬가 있거나 겹친 부분이 있다면 수정해주면 됩니다.

그런 과정을 거치면 최종데이터가 완성된답니다!

After merging, if there are any strange meshes or overlapping parts, you can fix them.
After going through that process, the final data is complete!

이런 지갑이나 물체가 작은 경우는 스캔이 오래 걸리지 않습니다.

다만 빛을 반사하는 재질이나 유리 같은 경우는 스캔이 조금 난이도가 있는편입니다.

하지만 레플리카에선 다양한 물품들을 스캔한 이력이 있기 때문에 다 가능합니다.

If the wallet or object is small, scanning won't take long.

가방의 질감과 색까지 정확하게 표현된 3D 데이터입니다.

실제 형상과 스캔 데이터의 정확도 차이는 +-0.03~0.05mm이고 유실된 부분 없이 모든 부분이 잘 스캔되었답니다.

스트랩의 재질과 구멍, 박음질까지 스캔이 꼼꼼하게 되었습니다.

스트랩 같은 경우 겹치는 부분이 많아서 병합이 잘 될 수 있게 스캔 하는것이 중요합니다.

누락이 되는 부분 없이 디테일하게 스캔하고, 꼼꼼하게 텍스처를 촬영하는것이 중요합니다.

The strap material, holes, and stitching were scanned thoroughly.
In the case of straps, there are many overlapping parts,

so it is important to scan them so that they can be merged well.
It is important to scan them in detail without missing any parts, 

and to take meticulous photos of the texture.

요즘 날씨가 많이 선선해져서 에버랜드 같이 놀이동산에 많이 방문하시는데요!

그래서 가져온 에버랜드 나무 3D 스캔 사례 (Everland Tree) 입니다.

So here is a 3D scan case of an Everland tree (Everland Tree).

이 나무가 이번에 스캔 할 대상체 인 나무입니다.

사진상 작아보이지만 실제 규격은 약 2M 높이의 화분에 담긴 나무입니다!

회장님이 좋아하시던 나무라 스캔 요청하셨답니다.

This tree is the tree we will be scanning this time.
It looks small in the photo, but it is actually a tree in a pot that is about 2 meters tall!
The chairman requested that we scan it because it was his favorite tree.

드론을 이용하여 촬영하는 모습

​

Photogrammetry 스캔(Drone사진 + DSLR사진) + 광대역 3D 스캐너를 복합 활용한

포토그라메트리 스캔기법을 이용하여 촬영 후 Photogrammetry를 통한 데이터 프로세싱 및

Geomagic S/W를 통한 후처리로 진행하였습니다.

​

Photogrammetry scan (Drone photo + DSLR photo) + Photogrammetry scan technique using

 a wide-band 3D scanner was used to take pictures, 

and then data processing was done through Photogrammetry and 

post-processing was done through Geomagic S/W.

​

광대역3D스캔 데이터와 Drone과 DSLR에서 촬영된 사진을 하나의 3D데이터로 만들어주는

포토그라메트리 S/W는 각 사진촬영의 위치값을 계산하고 각 수집된 데이터를

최종적으로 3D좌표 상에서 XYZ좌표값을 조밀한 점군의 데이터로 변환해줍니다.

아래 화면에서 색상정보가 담긴 포인트클라우드 데이터의 모습을 확인하실 수 있습니다.

The photogrammetry S/W, which creates wideband 3D scan data and photos taken from drones and 

DSLRs into a single 3D data, calculates the location value of each photo shoot and 

converts each collected data into a dense point cloud data in 3D coordinates.

You can check the appearance of point cloud data containing color information in the screen below.

나뭇잎을 동반한 나무를 스캔할 경우, 바람에 의해 나뭇잎이 흔들린다면 광대역3D스캔을 진행하기가 힘들어집니다.

3D스캔은 항상 대상체가 고정된 상태로 가만히 있다는 전제하에 스캔이 가능하답니다.

그리고 일정한 컬러로 실사 컬러를 담아내기 위해, 야외 같은 경우엔 햇빛이 최대한 없는 시간대에 촬영하는것이 좋습니다.

When scanning a tree with leaves, if the leaves are shaking due to the wind,

 it becomes difficult to perform a wide-area 3D scan.
3D scanning is always possible under the assumption that the subject is stationary and still. And in order to capture the actual color with a consistent color,

 it is best to shoot outdoors at a time when there is as little sunlight as possible.

잎 부분도 뭉치지않고 디테일하게 표현 된 모습입니다.

The tree trunk and leaves can also be separated.

오늘은 광대역 3D스캔을 하러 경희대 평화의 전당에 다녀왔습니다.

보통 건물같은경우 영화나 드라마에서 요청을 많이 해주시는데요

건물을 폭파하거나, 직접 여기서 촬영 할 수 없는 경우 등 여러가지 이유로 스캔을 요청하신답니다.

Today, I went to Kyunghee University's Peace Hall to do a wide-area 3D scan.
Usually, when it comes to buildings, they request a lot for movies or dramas.
They request scanning for various reasons, such as when the building is blown up or they can't film there directly.

광대역 3D스캔 같은경우 드론과 DSLR, 광대역 3D스캐너를 이용해서 촬영해준답니다.

​

광대역 3D스캔 같은경우 라이카 RCT360를 이용하여

포인트클라우드 데이터를 수집한 후 E57 데이터로 추출하는 작업을 진행합니다.

​

이와 동시에 DSLR을 이용하여 이곳저곳(창문, 동상, 무늬 등등)을 모두 면밀하게 사진을 찍고,

비행 드론(Drone)으로 DSLR로 촬영하기 어려운 지붕과 무늬 등을 높은 위치에서 찍는답니다.

​In the case of wideband 3D scans, drones, DSLRs, and wideband 3D scanners are used to take pictures.
In the case of wideband 3D scans,

 point cloud data is collected using Leica RCT360 and then extracted as E57 data.

At the same time, a DSLR is used to take detailed pictures of various places (windows, statues, patterns, etc.),

patterns that are difficult to take with a DSLR from a high position.

이렇게 촬영한 사진을 포토그라메트리 방식으로 병합하면

경희대 평화의 전당이 3D로 나타나게됩니다.

If you merge the photos taken in this way using the photogrammetry method, 

the Kyunghee University Peace Hall will appear in 3D.

작게 둘러져 있는 모습은 전부 카메라 위치와 사진들입니다.

한눈에 봐도 엄청 많아보이죠? 한 카메라 안에 몇십장의 사진이 들어가 있답니다.

드론과 DSLR, 광대역까지 포함하여 Control Point를 잡아주고 match해주는 작업을 한 후

파일이 무겁기 때문에 경량화 작업까지 진행하여주면 Texture 파일과 최종 OBJ데이터 파일로 나온답니다.

스캔시 대상체가 광나거나, 매우 어둡고 유리와 같이 빛을 투과하는 대상체일 경우 스캔이 안될 수 있답니다.

그럴 경우에는 현상액을 도포한 후 3D스캔합니다.

그래서 3D스캔 전 고객에게 현상액을 도포해도 되는지 여부를 확인한답니다.

현상액은 도포 후 스캔이 끝나면 휴지나 물로 닦아내어 없앨 수 있답니다.

He visited Replica Studio in person to shoot the music video

이번에 찍은 뮤직비디오는 영파씨의 ATE THAT이랍니다.

ATE THAT은 공개 이틀 만에 1000만 조회수를 돌파하며 화제가 되었죠.

​

ATE THAT 뮤직비디오는 1990년대 미국 힙합 사운드를

현대적인 지펑크 장르로 재해석한 점에서부터 많은 이목을 끌었어요.

그뿐만 아니라, GTA 게임을 모티브로 한 신나는 추격전과 다양한 CG 효과,

그리고 게임 캐릭터로 변한 멤버들을 보는 재밌는 요소들이 많이 있답니다.

이처럼 다양한 요소가 결합되어 뮤직비디오를 더욱 특별하게 만들어주고 있습니다.

그렇다면 어떻게 게임 캐릭터로 변했을까요~?

그건 전신 스캔을 해서 그 캐릭터에 리깅을 했기때문인데요!

어떻게 진행되었는지 확인해볼까요?

The music video we filmed this time is Youngpa's ATE THAT.
ATETHAT became a hot topic with more than 10 million views in just two days of its release.

The music video for ATE THAT attracted a lot of attention from its reinterpretation of the

1990s American hip-hop sound into a modern zippinck genre.
In addition, there are many fun elements to see exciting chase based on GTA game, 

various CG effects, and members who have turned into game characters.
These various elements are combined to make the music video even more special.

Then how did you turn into a game character?
That's because I did a full-body scan and then I rigged the character!
Let's see how it went?

레플리카에는 두개의 분장실이 있어서 메이크업을 수정하거나 옷을 갈아입을 수 있습니다.

화장대도 불빛이 나오는 화장대라 화장하기 딱 좋답니다.

분장실 크기도 작지 않아서 여유롭게 짐을 보관하고 준비할 수 있습니다.

The replica has two dressing rooms, so you can modify your makeup or change your clothes.

준비가 끝나면 이렇게 가운데 서서 포즈를 잡습니다.

신체 전체를 3D 스캐닝할 때 필요한 시간은 포즈 잡고

촬영 시간까지 약 1분 정도로, 정말 간편하고 빠르게 촬영된답니다.

160대의 카메라가 한번에 촬영되니 촬영중에 누락되거나 이상한 부분도 없고

DSLR 카메라이기때문에 화질도 좋아서 텍스쳐 깨지는 부분 없이 완벽하답니다 ㅎㅎ

When you're ready, stand in the middle and strike a pose.
The time required for 3D scanning of the entire body is about a minute to pose and shoot,

 which is really simple and fast.

Since 160 cameras are photographed at once, there are no missing or strange parts during filming,

 and since it is a DSLR camera, the quality is good, so it is perfect without breaking the texture haha

목걸이 같은 경우 핸드핼드 스캐너​를 이용해 스캔해줍니다.

이때 최대한 움직이지 않고 목걸이 모양을 유지해주면 된답니다.

In the case of necklaces, it is scanned using a hand-held scanner.
At this time, keep the shape of the necklace without moving as much as possible.

그렇게 약 3분~5분 내외로 스캔이 완료 된답니다.

마커를 붙여서 확실하게 핀을 잡게 해주면 깔끔하게 따진답니다.

그리고 텍스쳐작업을 위해 DSLR로 촬영을 해주면 악세사리까지 완벽하게 완료!

The scan is completed in about 3 to 5 minutes.
If you attach a marker to make sure you hold the pin, it will be neatly pointed out.
And if you shoot with DSLR for texture work, you'll complete the accessories perfectly!

이 3D 스캔 데이터를 뮤직비디오에 활용하면 영파씨의 3D아바타가

현실에선 불가능한 여러가지를 시도 할 수 있습니다.

예를 들어, 하늘을 자유롭게 날아다니거나 물속에서 춤추는 장면을 연출하거나

현실에서는 불가능한 카메라 앵글도 모두 가능하답니다!

그럼 스캔 결과물과 뮤직비디오에 어떻게 사용되었는지 확인해볼까요?

Using this 3D scan data for music videos allows Youngpa's 

3D avatar to try various things that are impossible in reality.

For example, it is possible to fly freely in the sky, dance in the water,

 and even camera angles that are impossible in real life!

신발같은 경우 포토부스에서 전신 촬영을 할때 다른부위에 비해

작게 나오고 바지에 가리는 경우가 있기 때문에

다소 디테일이 떨어질 수 있어서 신발만 따로 스캔한답니다.

​

신발만 따로 스캔 할 경우 재질이나 신발 주름까지 다 표현되기 때문에

놓치는 부분없이 데이터를 제공해 드릴 수 있습니다.

In the case of shoes, when taking a full-length photo at a photo booth, 

they come out smaller than other parts and may be covered by pants, 

so the details may be a little less, so only the shoes are scanned separately.

If you scan the shoes separately, the material and the shoe wrinkles are expressed,

 so we can provide you with data without missing anything.

GTA 게임과 비슷하게 이렇게 완성 되었답니다.

실제에서 하기 어려운 포즈나 역동적인 포즈같은 경우 3D로 많이 대체 하신답니다.

그래서 영화, 드라마,CG, 뮤직비디오 촬영 등 다양한곳에서 전신 스캔을 진행하십니다.

영화나 드라마같은 촬영은 보안때문에 비공개 된 사례가 많답니다.

Today, I brought the Nike Air Force Sneakers Outsole 3D scan results!
There are people who are curious about how well our scanner scans and details come out, 

so I brought it to show you~ lol

저희가 쓰는 Polyga Compact S1PRO 스캐너입니다.

500만 화소의 듀얼 카메라를 탑재한 고정형 광학식 스캐너랍니다!

3cm~ 60cm범위의 중소형 대상체 전용 장비라 작은 다테일도 놓치지않고

컬러도 같이 스캔이 가능해서 저희가 애용하는 스캐너입니다 ㅎㅎ

This is the Polyga Compact S1PRO scanner we use.
It's a fixed optical scanner with a 5-megapixel dual camera!
It is a scanner that we like to use because it is a device dedicated to small and

 medium-sized objects in the range of 3cm to 60cm, 

so you can scan the color together without missing a small date. haha

Polyga Compact S1 PRO 같은 경우

노트북이나 컴퓨터에 연결하여 전용소프트웨어를 통해 스캔하면 됩니다.

FlexScan3D를 사용하는데 스캔 데이터를 컷별로 정합하는 과정이

다른 소프트웨어보다 간단합니다.

형상정합이라는기술로 데이터를 정합하는데요~

컷별로 찍은 3D스캔 데이터를비슷한 위치에 놓고 형상정합 버튼을누르면,

형상의 동일한 구간을 소프트웨어가 파악하여 데이터를 붙여내는 형식입니다.

For Polyga Compact S1 PRO, you can connect to a laptop or computer and scan it through dedicated software.
With FlexScan3D, the process of matching scan data by cut is simpler than other software.

It matches data with a technology called shape matching
If you place the 3D scan data taken by each cut at the same location and press the shape matching button,

 the software identifies the same section of the shape and pastes the data.

순창 성황대신 사적 현판은 택배로 받아서 스캔할 수 없어서 직접 방문했답니다.

방문한 곳은 순창군 내 대모암 자타불이각 전시실입니다.

내부에 잘 모셔진 순창 성황대신 사적 현판을 만나볼 수 있었습니다.

Instead of Sunchang Seonghwang, I received the private signboard by courier and couldn't scan it, so I visited it myself.
The place I visited is the Daemoam Jataburi each exhibition room in Sunchang-gun.
Instead of Sunchang Seonghwang, which is well enshrined inside, I was able to meet the historical signboard.

해당 현판은 고려시대부터 조선시대까지 성황신을 섬기던 기록을 적은 현판으로서

나무로 된 겉면 재질 위에 음각으로 글씨를 파냈다고 해요.

3D스캔을 해야하는 부분은 현판의 윗면과 아랫면을 포함한 완벽한 전체 형상입니다.

The signboard in question is a record of serving the god Seonghwang from the Goryeo Dynasty to the Joseon Dynasty,

 and it is said that the inscription was engraved on the wooden surface.
The part that needs to be 3D scanned is the perfect overall shape,

 including the top and bottom surfaces of the signboard.

위 사진을 통해 글자의 음각진 부분이 얼마나 얕은지 알 수 있습니다.

타사의 3D스캐너 혹은 핸드헬드 스캐너로는 해당 디테일을 저희처럼 스캔 하기는 어렵고,

스캔을 하더라도 세밀한 부분이 뭉개지거나 누락되어 표현 될 수 있습니다.

저희는 디테일한 글자부분을 모두 스캔완료 , 현판의 측면 바디와 후면 바닥부분을 스캔할 차례랍니다.

글자와 같은 디테한 부분이 없어서 화각을 최대한 크게 만들어 스캔해줬습니다.

From the picture above, you can see how shallow the intaglio of the letter is.
It is difficult to scan the details like we do with other companies' 3D scanners or handheld scanners, 

and even if you scan them, the details can be crushed or omitted.

We've scanned all the detailed letters, and it's our turn to scan the side body and the rear bottom of the signboard.
There were no detailed parts such as letters, so I made the angle of view as large as possible and scanned it.

넓어진 Polyga Carbon의 화각을 이용하여, 더 멀리서 이렇게 큰 면적을 한번에 스캔할 수 있었습니다.

현판의 측면부와 전체적인 부분을 동시에 스캔하여 줍니다.

그리고 이전에 스캔하였던 글자 부분의 데이터와 정합을 시켜 하나의 완성된 3D데이터로 만들어 나갑니다.

Using the expanded angle of view of the Polyga Carbon,

we were able to scan this large area at once from a distance.
Scan the side and overall part of the signboard at the same time.
And it matches the previously scanned text data to make one completed 3D data.

이렇게 최종 3D스캔 데이터를 OBJ로 납품할 수 있었습니다.

이렇게 납품된 스캔 데이터는 실제 사이즈를 기반으로 측정된 데이터이기 때문에

해당 문화재의 2D 설계 도면을 만드는데도 활용됩니다.

그리고 문화재의 손실된 부분을 복원하거나 현 문화재 상태의 디지털 보존을 위해 3D스캔이 활용된답니다.
